SmartChlor® self-regulates at the same low level every time, so there is no chlorine number to chase — instead, a single color band tells you your SmartChlor cartridge is fine or it is time to replace it. Standard chlorine strips will always read “low” on an @ease spa even when the water is perfectly sanitized.

SmartChlor holds a deliberately low free-chlorine level while the minerals do the heavy lifting. A standard strip compares that to normal chlorine ranges and shows “low.” The @ease strip is calibrated to the SmartChlor level: one color = fine, faded = replace the cartridge.
