How we count
- Business days, from payment to tracking number. When your tracking number is ready, we email it to you.
- Orders paid after 12 PM Central, on a weekend, or on a holiday count from the next business day. So “same business day” means the business day your order counts from.
- Shipping isn’t delivery. These numbers measure the time from payment to tracking number. Delivery time depends on the carrier, the warehouse location and your address. Whenever we can, we ship your part from the closest warehouse that has the right one in stock.
- Slow orders are included. An order still waiting after 3+ business days counts as 3+, even before it ships.
- What’s left out: orders shipped without a recorded tracking number, and orders less than 3 business days old that haven’t shipped yet (they count once they ship or reach 3 business days).
- In stock at EZ parts ship from our warehouse. Everything else ships directly from the manufacturer or distributor, so the timing depends on their warehouse.

Before you send it, here’s what to know:
- It’s not always overnight. Your part ships from the warehouse that has it in stock. Depending on that warehouse, the cutoff time, and where you live, rushing it may get it to you just 1–2 days sooner, not overnight.
- Cutoff times matter. Overnight orders have to reach the warehouse before its daily cutoff. Warehouses on the West Coast and the East Coast have different cutoffs.
- Weekends matter. Not every address gets Saturday or Sunday delivery, so a Friday order may not arrive until Monday. We check that against your full address, not just your ZIP code.
- It’s expensive. Really expensive. Here’s a real-world example: a replacement hot tub pump costs $479.99. Overnight freight for that same pump can cost $400 or more. That’s $880+ for the pump and expedited shipping, before tax. We’re happy to arrange it when there’s a genuine emergency. But if you’re simply curious about overnight shipping costs, please understand that preparing a custom quote takes time: we have to check actual warehouse inventory, carrier availability, cutoff times and delivery schedules. Please request an overnight quote only if you’re prepared to pay that kind of freight. Otherwise, standard shipping is the better choice.
- It’s a one-person job. David is the only one here who knows the warehouses, their rules, the parts and the substitutes well enough to pull off an overnight order. If he’s on a service call, selling a hot tub, taking a day off, or it’s a Saturday or Sunday, we may not be able to make it happen. But if you’ve read all this and still send the form and call, David knows it’s important, and he’ll do what he can.
Since David started EZ Hot Tub Parts in March 2024, the stars have lined up exactly once for a Friday order to arrive on Saturday.
The customer ordered before the warehouse cutoff. The pump was actually in stock. The customer was willing to pay the FedEx overnight freight charge. And Saturday delivery was available in the area.
Even then, we had to check three different delivery addresses before finding one FedEx could deliver to on Saturday.
That’s what it takes to pull off overnight shipping sometimes. The part, the warehouse, the cutoff time, the carrier, the delivery address, and a customer willing to pay the freight all have to line up.
Why the form first? David can’t quote overnight shipping without your details, and he can’t gather them over the phone and work on your quote at the same time. With the form, he copies and pastes your name and address straight into the warehouse’s system, so nothing gets misspelled over the phone. (We’ve learned that a lot of people spell “P as in pterodactyl.”) One wrong letter can cost you the overnight delivery you’re paying for. Before requesting a quote: if you wouldn’t pay $300–$400 or more for expedited freight on a heavy pump or motor, standard shipping is the better choice. Please save overnight quote requests for when getting the part sooner truly matters.

Shipping & overnight delivery FAQs
We publish our actual shipping performance, updated nightly from our own order history. Parts in stock at our warehouse usually ship the same business day. Parts that ship directly from the manufacturer or distributor usually ship within 1–2 business days. See the charts at the top of this page for the latest numbers.
Not necessarily. We use the same USPS, FedEx, and UPS services you’re already familiar with from other online retailers. Our shipping statistics measure how quickly your order ships, not how long the carrier takes to deliver it. Delivery time depends on the warehouse location, shipping service, and your address.
Sometimes, for heaters, pumps and motors, circuit boards, topside controls and spa packs. It depends on warehouse stock, cutoff times, carrier service and your delivery address, and overnight delivery can’t be guaranteed. Filters, water care products and other parts ship standard.
A lot. Real example: a $479.99 replacement pump can cost $400 or more to overnight, which is $880+ before tax. If you wouldn’t pay several hundred dollars for expedited freight, standard shipping is the better choice.
Sometimes, but rarely. Saturday delivery depends on the carrier, the warehouse location, the cutoff time and whether your address gets Saturday service. We’ve pulled off a Friday-to-Saturday delivery once since March 2024, so please don’t count on it.
An overnight quote needs your exact delivery address, the right part, a warehouse stock check and carrier availability. With the form, David can copy and paste your details straight into the warehouse’s system instead of taking them down over the phone, where one misspelled letter can cost you the overnight delivery.
Please don’t. Every overnight quote takes real time to research warehouse stock, cutoff times and carriers. Overnight quotes are for customers who truly need the part sooner and are prepared to pay the extra freight.
