SmartChlor self-regulates: more sanitizer when the spa is busy, a steady low level when it is not, for up to 75% less chlorine than standard dosing.

Your FROG @ease test strips read a single color: fine or replace. When the strip says replace — typically at 3–4 weeks — swap in a fresh cartridge.
Start at the setting for your spa size per the in-line system manual, then nudge up or down based on your strip readings after a week of normal use.
SmartChlor holds a deliberately low free-chlorine level and the minerals do the rest, so ordinary strips misread it. Use FROG @ease Test Strips — the single color tells you the cartridge is fine or empty.
