FROG® Metal Remover (16 fl oz, order code 01-14-6507, UPC 722906065074) pulls damaging metals — copper, iron and manganese — out of solution before they stain your shell, discolor your water, or coat your heater. Used at every fresh fill, it stops staining and metal accumulation from the very first day. Approved to work with FROG @ease®.
- Removes copper, iron and manganese deposits
- Prevents stains on spa surfaces and equipment
- Eliminates the green, brown or rusty tint metals give fill water
- Protects heater and equipment life
- Bottle marked in ounces for accurate dosing — made for King Technology, Minnetonka, Minnesota
On well water? This bottle is your first-fill essential. Iron and manganese are invisible in fresh well water until sanitizer oxidizes them — then the water turns and the stain sets. Dose Metal Remover at the fill, before shock, and the metals never get the chance.

FROG Metal Remover FAQs
The FROG Maintenance line is brand new — first shipment arrives direct from FROG at the end of September 2026. Order now and yours ships the day it lands.
The best time is at a fresh fill, before you shock — it sequesters metals before sanitizer can oxidize them into stains. On metal-heavy water, a maintenance dose per the label keeps them locked up between refills.
Its job is prevention — keeping dissolved metals from becoming stains. Fresh, light discoloration may improve as metals are pulled back into solution, but set stains need a surface cleaner like FROG Surface & Cover Cleaner and a Scrub Pad at drain time.
Yes — it is approved by FROG to work with the @ease system, and it is compatible with chlorine, bromine and salt sanitizers too.
If past fills have turned green, brown or tea-colored after shocking, or you see rust rings at the waterline, you have iron or manganese. Dose at every fill. A phosphate-free metal treatment like this one will not feed cloudiness later.
