Artesian Elite Water Care & Sanitizing Systems

This category covers the sanitizing equipment side of Artesian Elite water care: the ozone or AOP generator, its replacement bulb or cartridge, the injector and mixing chamber, the ozone check valve, tubing and clamps, the ozone return fitting, and the in-line FROG cartridge system with its housing, cap, holder and chlorine and mineral cartridges. Whichever route your spa runs, the goal is the same — a sanitizer working constantly so chemistry stays stable between soaks, and a heater and pump that are not eating unbalanced water.

Which system do you have? It changed by era. 2017 and newer Artesian Elite and late Platinum Elite spas run either a UO3-75 ozone generator or an AquaNova AOP unit that pairs ozone with UV-C; 2014–2017 Platinum Elites ran the ECO Master ozone/UV AOP or a DEL ozone generator; 2008–2013 spas ran corona-discharge ozone with a separate mixing chamber. The generator’s label tells us which — and its replaceable parts (AOP bulb, CD cartridge, injector, check valve) are matched to it, not to the spa model. The FROG in-line housing and cap appear in the parts books from 2016 on for both Platinum Elite and Artesian Elite.

Is the ozone even running? Your panel shows an ozone icon while the generator is active — on circulation-pump spas it runs with the circ pump — and a “Check Ozone” reminder when it is due for attention. Either, depending on year and package. AOP (advanced oxidation) units pair an ozone generator with a UV-C lamp in one assembly and have a replaceable bulb; plain ozone generators have no lamp and are replaced as a unit or by their CD cartridge. The label on the generator inside the cabinet names it; photograph that label and we will match the bulb, cartridge or replacement unit.

Yes — the factory directs orders for the white injector to the blue injector 02-0004-32, which the books list across Gold, Platinum, Platinum Elite and Artesian Elite. A 2021-book white injector exists for current spas as well; if your sticker reads the old number, the blue one is the factory’s answer. Replace the ozone check valve at the same time if it has never been done.

Platinum Elite and Artesian Elite spas from 2016 on per the parts books, with a housing in the plumbing, a metallic-gray cap you unscrew from the top, and a cartridge holder inside. The chlorine and mineral cartridges are consumables; the housing, cap and holder are the parts that crack or strip over the years and are listed here.

Watch the panel: an ozone icon shows whenever the generator is running, which on a circulation-pump spa is most of the day. No icon while the circ pump runs, a generator that feels dead or a UV bulb past its service life means it is time to replace the unit or bulb. Also check the ozone check valve — a failed one lets water back into the generator and kills it.
