Artesian Elite Control System Parts

Every Artesian Elite (2019 and newer) and every 2013–2018 Platinum Elite runs Balboa BP-family controls; 2007–2012 Platinum Elites ran Gecko — the label on your spa pack inside the cabinet tells you which.

Artesian Elite Control System Parts — Diagnosis & Fitment Guide

This is the hub for everything that runs your spa: control panels (Artesian calls them topside controls — the touchscreen or button unit on the top rail, plus the auxiliary pump-switch panels at the seats), circuit boards and spa packs, daughter boards, WiFi modules, temperature sensors and fuses. Start with the symptom. A dead, dim or scrambled display, or a touchscreen that stopped responding, points at the control panel. No heat, no power, a tripping breaker or a message code with a working display points at the circuit board or spa pack, the heater or a sensor.

Three control generations, one catalog. Artesian Elite 2019 and newer runs a Balboa MBP-series pack with a touchscreen panel; the 2013–2018 Platinum Elite ran the Balboa BP Platinum system with a button panel and then a Spa Touch panel, and the factory superseded several of its boards and panels with the Artesian Elite versions — so many Platinum Elite owners shop this category exactly as Artesian Elite owners do. The 2007–2012 Platinum Elite ran Gecko electronics (in.k lo-profile panels, in.therm heater), which the factory no longer lists; Gold and Platinum Class spas before that are older still. Your spa pack label names the system.

Gecko-era and earlier owners: we will not sell you a part that does not exist. When a pack or panel is obsolete, the honest fix is a control system upgrade — a current pack, matching panel and heater in one move. Upgrade paths exist and are specified per spa, not per brand name. Send photos of your pack label, equipment bay, panel and serial number through the form below and we will spec what fits.

Artesian Elite Control System Parts FAQs

Balboa. Every Artesian Elite from 2019 on runs a Balboa MBP-series pack, and the 2013–2018 Platinum Elite before it ran the Balboa BP Platinum system. Gecko electronics belong to the 2007–2012 Platinum Elite (in.k panels and in.therm heaters), and the 2008–2011 Platinum Class used an earlier Balboa VS-type system. If the badge says Platinum Elite, read the spa pack label before ordering anything electrical.

The factory no longer lists the 2007–2012 Gecko packs, panels or heaters, and we do not list parts we cannot supply. The path forward is a control system upgrade to a current pack and panel, which also renews the heater. Send your pack label, a wide shot of the equipment bay, your panel and your serial number and we will spec the upgrade for your spa.

Yes. Balboa BP-family packs support the ControlMySpa WiFi kit, and the current BWG WiFi module is the factory substitute for the earlier module number (33-1315-08) many owners search for. If your spa runs an older non-BP system, no module exists for it — read our WiFi retrofit page for the honest answer.

Yes — the factory replaced it with the Balboa ADV temperature sensor 33-1642-08, which is the number to order for Artesian Elite and BP-era Platinum Elite systems. A sensor fault usually shows as a sensor or heater message on the panel with the display otherwise working; tell us the exact message in the form and we will confirm it is the sensor before you buy.

Hold mode disables the pumps for one hour so you can clean or replace the filters or work on the equipment without the spa starting a pump under you; it exits automatically or when you cancel it. Use it every time you open the filter well — the suction at the filter fitting is strong enough to injure.

✅ Not Sure Which Control System Part You Need? Verify Before Ordering

  • Your control panel face and display
