DEL AOP Spa 2 / AquaNova 2 — UV-C and Ozone Sanitation System
The DEL AOP Spa 2 combines two cleaning technologies — UV-C and ozone — whose synergy creates hydroxyl radicals for superior oxidation, ridding spa water of 99.9% of certain contaminants, including ones chemical sanitizers alone can’t break down. It complements your chlorine or bromine treatment; it does not replace it.
AOP destroys and prevents chloramines — the compounds formed when chlorine reacts with sweat that cause the “chlorine smell,” eye irritation, and skin irritation. It also enhances your filtration: oxidized organic contaminants clump together so your filter catches more of them. The result is dramatically clearer water and a better soak.
The all-in-one design with built-in venturi injector makes installation simple, and current DEL AOP Spa 2 units include a built-in ozone check valve. The unit arrives pre-wired with a 4-pin AMP plug on a 4-ft cord. LED status lights show green in normal operation and red on malfunction, and the UV lamp-life indicator flashes yellow when the bulb is due.

From time to time, EZ Hot Tub Parts may have open box DEL AOP sanitation systems available at a discounted price. These units are typically removed from brand new Artesian Elite, Island Spas, South Seas, or TidalFit spas before delivery when a customer upgrades to an aftermarket saltwater sanitation system.
Because the original DEL AOP system is removed during the new spa preparation process, these units have not been used in a spa environment. In many cases, the customer receives a credit toward their salt system upgrade while EZ Hot Tub Parts incurs the labor cost to remove the original equipment and install the upgraded sanitation system.
When available, open box units are typically offered at approximately $100 off the price of a new unit, making them an excellent value for customers looking to replace a failed ozone or AOP system.

Important Product Update (2026)
The original DEL AOP Spa AquaNova 2 has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Effective March 17, 2026, Artesian Spas began installing the updated Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) sanitation system on equipped TidalFit, Artesian Elite, Island Spas, and South Seas models, and orders placed today may be fulfilled with the current DEL AOP Spa 2 by CMP (CMP has acquired both DEL UV and Aqua Sun Ozone).
The current unit connects to your spa control system in the same manner as previous AquaNova and Diamond AOP versions and is generally backwards compatible with older equipped spas. The updated housing is slightly thicker, so minor mounting modifications may be required in some installations, and current units include a built-in ozone check valve. Actual product may appear different from older images. This page will continue to be updated as DEL / CMP introduces future replacement models.
