DEL AOP Spa 2 Ozone/UV-C Disinfection System (240 Volts) is a combination ozonator and UV-C disinfection system with a built in venturi injection system. It is effective for hot tubs and spas up to 5,000 gallons. The ozonator provides a basic disinfection, but its main role is to oxidize sweat and residues from other treatments. It is complementary to your chemical treatment and does not replace it. AOP systems also destroy and prevent chloramines formed when chlorine reacts with sweat or urine that cause unpleasant smells, eye, and skin irritations. The AOP Spa dramatically increases water clarity and improves the hot tub experience.The AOP Spa AquaNova comes with two ozone check valves and an ozone injector. They are pre-wired with a 4-pin AMP plug. LEDs indicate the correct operation of the ozonator: green when the ozonator and the UV lamp are working normally, and red in case of malfunction. The UV-C lamp should be replaced every 10,000 hours or when the life indicator changes from green to flashing yellow.DEL AOPs are dramatically more powerful than Chlorine and other sanitizers, and even more powerful than Ozone alone. In AOP systems, the highly unstable hydroxyl free radicals react with dissolved waterborne contaminants in a series of strong oxidation reactions. This process happens almost instantaneously.

Note: This product can replace the discontinued SES-U-02 Spa Solar Eclipse but it is wired differently. It is not a direct replacement. If replacing an SES-U-02, your system would need to be rewired in the field. (Amp plug will have to be replaced with Mini J&J plug from existing.) The DEL AOP Spa and AquaNovas are the same product. CMP has acquired both DEL UV and Aqua Sun Ozone. Actual product may appear different from images.

Important Product Update (March 2026)
Effective March 17, 2026, Artesian Spas began installing an updated Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) sanitation system on equipped TidalFit, Artesian Elite, Island Spas, and South Seas models. The previous AquaNova / Diamond AOP unit has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
The current-generation DEL AOP Spa 2 features a similar all-in-one design with UV-C and ozone technology and is generally backwards compatible with older equipped spas. The replacement unit connects to spa control systems in the same manner as previous versions, although minor mounting modifications may be required in some installations due to the updated housing design.
Open Box Savings Opportunity
From time to time, EZ Hot Tub Parts may have open box DEL AOP sanitation systems available at a discounted price. These units are typically removed from brand new Artesian Elite, Island Spas, South Seas, or TidalFit spas before delivery when a customer upgrades to an aftermarket saltwater sanitation system.
Because the original DEL AOP system is removed during the new spa preparation process, these units have not been used in a spa environment. In many cases, the customer receives a credit toward their salt system upgrade while EZ Hot Tub Parts incurs the labor cost to remove the original equipment and install the upgraded sanitation system.
When available, open box units are typically offered at approximately $100 off the price of a new unit, making them an excellent value for customers looking to replace a failed ozone or AOP system.

Orders placed today may be fulfilled with the current DEL AOP Spa 2 by CMP . The DEL AOP Spa 2 is the current manufacturer-supplied replacement and performs the same Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) water treatment functions for compatible hot tubs and swim spas.
