Island Spas run the common spa sanitizing approaches: in-line chlorine cartridge systems, and ozone or UV-C systems plumbed into the circulation line. What your spa has (or has room for) depends on model and year — send photos of your equipment area and we’ll tell you what fits.

It destroys contaminants in the water passing through it, around the clock, which reduces the workload on your chlorine. You still need a residual sanitizer — but you need less of it, and water stays clearer between doses.

UV-C and AOP bulbs lose intensity long before they visibly burn out, so they’re replaced on a schedule rather than at failure — check your system’s manual for its interval, and photograph the unit label if you’re not sure which bulb yours takes.
