TidalFit Valves & Diverters — Match by Function, Size & Trim

Four part families live here. Diverter valves on the top deck steer water between jet groups — the TidalFit books list a 2 inch graphite diverter, and the factory directs the older version to a current textured-cap replacement. Shut-off valves in the plumbing: slip x spigot snap valves in 1-1/2 and 2 inch, 1 inch on/off valves in straight and elbow form, a 2-1/2 inch slice valve on the swim lines, and a spring check valve. Waterfall and skimmer hardware: the 18 inch spillway with its built-in valve, and the weir gate and weir door on the filter well. And the in-line sanitizer housing that sits in the plumbing is listed here with the valves. Match by function first, then line size, then trim — TidalFit trim is Graphite Gray from the 2013 books on.

Most valve complaints are a cap that leaks or grinds, not a valve body — diverter caps and o-rings wear first and are serviceable from above. A cracked body, or a slice valve that won’t hold on a swim line, is the full-replacement case; photograph the knob, cap and base from above and we’ll tell you which repair you’re in.

Match the function (diverter, on/off, snap, slice or check valve), the line size and the trim. TidalFit diverters in the books are 2 inch with Graphite Gray caps. A top-down photo of the knob and its base, plus a look at the pipe size underneath if you can reach it, identifies it in one step.

The original 2 inch graphite diverter (08-1360-52, 2015–2019 books) is out of stock at the factory, which directs it to the textured-cap version 08-1364-52 in the 2021 book. Same function and size — the newer cap has a textured grip. If your sticker or old order shows the earlier number, the textured diverter is the replacement.

A slip x spigot shut-off valve that snaps shut in the plumbing line — the TidalFit books list it in 1-1/2 inch (08-0271-81) and 2 inch (08-0002-31) through the 2013–2021 years. Spa builders fit them so a pump or heater can be isolated for service without draining the spa. Match the size of the line it sits in.

The 18 inch spillway waterfall has its valve built into the spillway body (03-0148-48, 2017–2021 books), so a weak waterfall is usually that valve or the spillway itself rather than a separate deck knob. The 9 inch and 20 inch waterfall bodies and lids are listed with the jets.

Because it is a piece of plumbing: the in-line cartridge housing sits in the line with its own cap and cartridge holder (2017–2021 books).
