TidalFit Plumbing Parts — Match by Size & Connection

Water and air manifolds, suction fittings and floor drains, PVC pipe and flex, elbows, tees, couplings, bushings, pump unions and tubing for TidalFit live here, matched by nominal pipe size and connection type — slip (smooth glue socket), spigot (fits inside a slip socket) or barb (pushes into flex hose). Swim spa plumbing is sized for swim-jet flow: the books carry 2-1/2 inch pipe, flex and unions alongside the 1-1/2 and 2 inch lines, and suction fittings rated by flow. One honest measuring note: spa plumbing uses nominal sizing, so “2 inch” pipe measures larger than 2 inches across the outside — compare your part’s ports to the listed dimensions, and when in doubt, the tape-measure photo settles it.

Suction covers are safety parts. The owner’s manual requires inspecting the suction covers and their screws, and replacing any that are damaged or tampered with — hair and body entrapment warnings apply. The suction families changed numbers over the years (several older suction and drain numbers are factory-directed to current replacements), so if your cover carries an old number, send a photo and we’ll match the current part. TidalFit Plumbing Parts FAQs

A mix: the TidalFit parts books carry schedule 40 PVC in 1-1/2, 2 and 2-1/2 inch, 2-1/2 inch spa flex, and fittings from 3/8 inch barb up to 4 inch. Jet lines and manifolds are typically 1-1/2 or 2 inch; swim-jet lines and some suctions are 2-1/2 inch. Measure the outside of your pipe and compare to nominal sizes — or photograph the fitting with a tape measure and we’ll size it.

Match the flow rating and size on the cover: the books list 124 GPM, 170 GPM, 179 GPM and 251 GPM VGB2008 suctions in 2 and 2-1/2 inch. Replace a cracked or missing cover before using the spa — the manual treats suction covers as entrapment safety parts. A photo of the cover face and its screw pattern identifies it fastest.

We match them to the current parts. The factory directs the 05-0042-48 suction to 05-0031-52, the 2.5 inch 05-0041-48 to 05-1902-52, the floor drain 05-0013-48 to 05-0014-48, the barb adapter 09-0050-48 to 09-0111-48 and the braided tubing 18-0004-35 to 18-0026-48. If your sticker shows an old number, search it here or send it through the form and we’ll point you to its replacement.

Slip is a smooth socket that glues over the outside of a pipe; spigot is a smooth end sized to glue inside a slip socket (a street fitting has one of each); barb is a ridged end that pushes into flex hose and is clamped. A manifold described as “2 S x 2 SPG” has a 2 inch slip socket on one side and a 2 inch spigot on the other — match both ends of your old fitting.

The NPT filter cartridge wall fitting (05-0001-48, in every book from 2010 to 2021) and its grid — the threaded fitting your 2 inch MPT filter screws into.
