TidalFit Circulation Pumps

TidalFit circulation pumps run the filter, heater and ozone around the clock — match by intake and discharge size, cord connection and line frequency, never by the way the pump looks.

TidalFit Circulation Pumps — Match by Size, Connection & Frequency

The circulation pump is the quiet workhorse that moves water through your filters, heater and ozone system — on a TidalFit configured for 24-hour circulation it is also the heater pump, so when it fails the spa stops heating too. The books list several families across the years: the Laing circ pump with an AMP plug, the high-flow circulation pump, the Power WOW pump of the 2017–2021 books, a 50 Hz export version on Balboa-equipped spas, and the Gecko Circ-Master on spas built with the WaVS swim system (which ship with Gecko controls regardless of year). Replacements are matched by intake and discharge size, by cord connection and by frequency; the motor mounts and vibration strip are listed alongside.

Refilling after a repair? The owner’s manual is blunt: an air lock can damage the circulation pump and is not covered under warranty. Fill through the filter well so water reaches the pump first, confirm the pump unions are tight and the pump plugs are installed, and let the pump purge before you run the heater. A circ pump that’s failing usually announces itself — new noise, weak flow at the filter well, or a flow message on the display with clean filters.

TidalFit Circulation Pumps FAQs

Match your existing pump’s intake and discharge size, its cord connector and your line frequency. The 2019–2020 books list the Laing circ pump with AMP plug (21-0008-19); the 2017–2021 books the Power WOW 60 Hz pump (21-0025-81); the high-flow circulation pump (21-0015-81) runs through the whole book range; export spas take the 50 Hz pump (21-0011-81). Send photos of the pump label and cord plug and we’ll confirm the exact replacement.

Remove the filters and fill with the hose placed in the filter well so water reaches the circulation line first; the 2008 manual describes filling from the circulation pump line specifically to purge the air. Check that pump unions are hand-tight and pump plugs are in, fill to the bottom of the pillows, then power up and let the pump prime before the heater is allowed to run. An air-locked circ pump is a warranty exclusion in the manual, so it’s worth the ten minutes.

With clean filters, a full water level and no air lock, a flow message points at the circulation pump or the flow/pressure sensing. The WaVS manual spells out the checklist for FLO and NO FLO: filter, pump, blockage, air lock and water level. Run that list first; if the pump is quiet or barely moving water with everything else right, it’s the pump.

On spas configured for 24-hour circulation, yes — the manual calls whichever pump moves water through the heater the “heater pump,” and that is the circulation pump on circ systems or the 2-speed pump 1 on non-circ systems. It’s why a failed circ pump shows up as a no-heat complaint as often as a dirty-water one.

✅ Not Sure Which Circulation Pump Fits? Verify Before Ordering

TidalFit circulation pump compatibility varies by control system (Gecko or Balboa), model year, serial number, plumbing size, cord connector and line frequency.

To help us identify the correct replacement, please send clear photos of:

  • The pump label showing voltage, amperage and frequency
  • The cord plug or connector
  • The plumbing connections at the pump
  • Your spa serial number sticker

EZ Hot Tub Parts can confirm fitment before you order and help you avoid costly returns.
