Easy to install. With the power to the tub off, just pry off the old one, clean the surface. Open the cabinet, unplug the old one from the circuit board. Plug in the new one and use the 3M double sided adhesive to stick the new one in place. Then power on the hot tub.

How do I confirm this topside control fits my spa?

Topside controls are matched to the spa pack, not to the model year. Read the label on your pack, count the buttons and pumps on your existing topside, and check the cable connector. Photograph all three and send them through the form on this page and we will confirm the match before you order.

My spa is a 2025 or 2026 — is it Balboa or Gecko?

Mainland Tropic Seas Spas stayed on Balboa controls — the 2025 redesign applied to Island Spas, not Tropic Seas. The exception is the Hawaii-supplied build, which runs an in.ye pack with its own panel. The label on the pack settles it, not the year.

Is this the replacement for the SpaTouch 1?

Yes. The factory has retired the SpaTouch 1 touchscreen (OP33-1909-08, used on Island Spas and TidalFit, and on the Tropic Seas Tropic Pool). This SpaTouch 2 is the shipping replacement on the same MBP501UX / MBP20 control systems — if your panel says SpaTouch 1, this is the one to order.

Do I need an overlay for this touchscreen?

No — the SpaTouch 2 does not use an overlay. The printed overlays from the SpaTouch 1 era — OP11-1902-08 (Island Spas), OP11-1901-08 (Island Elite), OP11-1904-08 (Tropic Seas) and OP11-1900-08 (TidalFit) — fit the SpaTouch 1 only and do not carry over. On the SpaTouch 2 the touchscreen display itself replaces the printed overlay, so the panel arrives complete.
