EZ’s Pro Tip: Replace the gaskets when replacing the pump – 2″ Flat Gasket

When replacing a motor/pump assembly make sure you replace with same amperage to prevent fires and maintain proper jet pressure. HP and BHP are used by marketing gurus to confuse the general public. Example: we can see the same 12 amp motor/pump labeled as 2.5hp, 3hp, 5hp and 6bhp, allows compare amperage when replacing a pump/motor assembly.

✅ Not Sure It Fits? Verify Before Ordering

Island Spas parts vary by model, model year, trim and generation. Spas built during the 2025/2026 changeover may be current-generation or “Classic” carryover, so the model year alone does not settle it — match your spa pack label.

To help us identify the correct replacement, please send clear photos of:

  • Your existing part, including any label
  • Your spa serial number sticker
  • Your spa pack / control system label

EZ Hot Tub Parts can help confirm fitment before you order and help reduce costly returns.

Match the electrical rating first: this pump is 6 Amp at 120V. Amperage and voltage are what keep the pump inside your spa pack’s breaker and relay rating, so they are matched before anything else. Then confirm speeds, frame size and intake/discharge plumbing size. Horsepower and BHP figures printed on competing listings are marketing numbers with no consistent convention — do not match on them.

Yes. Two pumps can share voltage, amperage, speed and frame and still be different applications because their unions differ — Island Spas used both 2 inch and 2-1/2 inch plumbing. Measure your existing unions before ordering, or send a photo through the form on this page.

Island Spas changed shells, filters and electronics for the 2025 model update, and prior-generation spas continued to sell alongside them as “Classic” models. There was no January 1 cutoff, so the model year on its own does not identify the generation — read the label on your spa pack, or send us a photo of it and we will identify it for you.
