Yes. The single 1-1/2 inch port is the inlet and the two 1 inch ports are the outlets. Fitting it backwards starves the jets it feeds, and because the joints are solvent-welded there is no second chance to turn it around.

The 2025 update changed shells and equipment, and prior-generation “Classic” spas kept selling alongside it. Trunk sizes did not all carry over, so measure the fitting you are cutting out rather than assuming from the model year.
