Proper Filter Care System:

Island Spas parts vary by model, model year, trim and generation. Spas built during the 2025/2026 changeover may be current-generation or “Classic” carryover, so the model year alone does not settle it — match your spa pack label.

This is the circulation cartridge (EZ02) — approximately 6″ diameter × 8″ tall, 35 sq ft, with a closed handled top and a 2″ MPT threaded bottom. The large main cartridge (EZ01) is the wider 6.75″ diameter, 50 sq ft filter. Many Island Spas use one of each.

Rinse every two to four weeks, deep-soak in a filter cleaner monthly, and replace the cartridge every 12 to 18 months. Running two sets and rotating them roughly doubles cartridge life. A dirty filter is the single most common cause of freeze damage and premature pump failure.
