Island Spa Filter FAQs

If your spa has two filter wells (all models 2002–2024 and 2-filter 2025 builds), it takes the large EZ01 and small EZ02 pair. If it has one tall filter, it’s a 2025+ redesigned model and takes the EZ30.

Large filter: 50 sq ft equivalents including Pleatco PAS50-F2M, Artesian 06-0005-12, Hurricane HF6H502-01, and ProAqua SPP-PA-402. Circulation filter: Pleatco PAS40-F2M, Artesian 06-0014-12, Hurricane HF6H352-01, and ProAqua SPP-PA-6502.

Rinse between the pleats with a high-pressure filter nozzle, and soak in a filter cleaner solution monthly. Keep a second set to install while the cleaned set dries fully — a dirty filter is the number one cause of hot tub freeze damage and premature pump failure.

On two-filter models, yes — the large and circulation filters age together and are sold as matched 2 packs and 4 packs. Singles are available if you only need to replace one damaged filter.
