SpaTouch 3 or SpaTouch 3+? Measure the panel
These are two different panels, and the bezel size is the primary difference. This page is the 3+, the larger of the two:
- SpaTouch 3+ (this page) — panel face 7-1/4″ × 4-1/2″
- SpaTouch 3 — panel face 5-3/4″ × 4″, cutout 5″ × 3-5/16″
Measure your existing panel face before ordering. The two look alike in photos — the measurement is what tells them apart. If yours is the smaller one, you want the SpaTouch 3 instead.
What’s in the box
The SpaTouch 3+ touchscreen panel with its clear frame and attached cord with 4-pin Molex connector — a complete topside control, ready to plug into the spa pack.
No separate button overlay is required or used. The touchscreen replaces the button panel entirely, so there is no printed overlay to match, order, or replace later.
Installation
Turn off power to the spa at the GFCI or breaker before beginning. Pry off the old topside and clean the mounting surface. Open the equipment bay and unplug the old topside cable from the circuit board. Connect the SpaTouch 3+’s 4-pin Molex plug, position the new panel on a clean, dry surface with fresh double-sided adhesive as needed, then restore power and test the display.
If you are not comfortable working inside the equipment compartment, have a qualified spa technician install it.

No. The SpaTouch 3+ is a complete touchscreen topside with its own clear frame. There is no printed button overlay to match or replace.
Put a tape measure across the face of your existing panel. Roughly 7-1/4″ wide means the 3+ on this page; roughly 5-3/4″ wide means the SpaTouch 3. If you are between sizes or unsure, send us a photo with the tape measure in frame and we will confirm before you order.
The SpaTouch 4+. It is the same footprint as this panel — 7.3″ × 4.6″ against the 3+’s 7-1/4″ × 4-1/2″ — on the same Balboa BP series with the same 4-pin Molex connector, and it adds built-in WiFi through ControlMySpa™. (The smaller SpaTouch 4 matches the standard SpaTouch 3, not this one.) Send us a photo and we will confirm before you switch generations.
For most owners, yes. Shut the power off at the breaker, unplug the old topside from the circuit board, connect the new 4-pin Molex plug, mount the panel, then restore power. No special tools are required. If you are not comfortable working inside the equipment compartment, have a spa technician handle it.
