TidalFit Light Parts — Measure the Lens, Match the Chain

TidalFit light parts break down into three layers: the LED assembly or bulb, the lens you see in the shell, and the housing with gasket behind it. Three housing sizes run through the books — 2 inch (lens, EPDM L-gasket and a housing-with-gasket assembly), 3.5 inch and a 5 inch stainless-ring housing — and they do not interchange, so start by measuring across your lens face. The factory has consolidated the older numbers: the 3.5 inch Xylem assembly and the 5 inch lens ring are both directed to current housing-with-gasket assemblies, and the old 12 V bulb to its current number.

The accent lighting is a daisy chain: single, dual and quad RGB LED assemblies linked by jumpers back to an LED control box, with the 7-LED short-standoff light and the skirt light on the same chain. A dark single light is usually that assembly; every light dark at once points at the control box or its feed. Swift Water Trainer spas use their own LED control box. A leak at a light is the housing gasket — and a gasket-stage fix is far cheaper than the cabinet-side water damage of ignoring it.

TidalFit Light Parts FAQs

Measure across the lens face in the shell: about 2 inches, 3.5 inches or 5 inches tells you which housing system you have. Lenses, gaskets and housing-with-gasket assemblies are listed by size; the RGB LED assemblies, jumpers and control box cover the accent lighting. A photo with a tape measure through the form confirms it.

The factory directs the 3.5 inch Xylem assembly (35-0005-54, 2017–2020 books) to the 3.5 inch light housing assembly with gasket, 35-0029-30 (2021 book). Likewise the 5 inch stainless lens ring 35-0010-48 is replaced by the 5 inch housing assembly 35-0030-30, and the 12 V bulb 35-0006-54 by 35-0011-05. A string of RGB LED heads (single, dual or quad) on one cable that plugs into the next assembly or a 5 ft chain jumper, all fed from the LED control box (the Dynabrite box in the 2010–2021 books). Replace the assembly whose heads are dark; if the whole chain is dark, test from the control box outward.

All at once means the feed, not the lights: the LED control box, its connection to the spa pack, or the light output on the pack itself. One dark light is the assembly or bulb. Tell us which case you have and your spa pack label, and we’ll point you to the next check before you buy parts.

That’s the housing gasket or a cracked housing. The 2 inch system has a separate EPDM L-gasket; the 3.5 and 5 inch systems are replaced as housing-with-gasket assemblies. Replace it promptly — a weeping light housing is a slow leak into the cabinet.
