TidalFit Audio & Stereo Parts — Match the Generation

Spas with entertainment packages carry audio components that age faster than the spa itself — speakers live in a humid cabinet and head units get years of moisture exposure. TidalFit audio went through distinct generations: the Aquatic AV digital media center and its harness in the early 2010s books; the Bluetooth receiver era and the BBA Bluetooth audio module (BBA, then BBA 2 from 2018) with outboard amplifiers and a dedicated power supply; and the Bluetooth kit for the touchscreen on Swift Water Trainer spas. Speakers moved too: the 3 inch Island AQ and Artesian grill speakers were reissued with TE-style connectors in the 2020–2021 books, with a matching harness, and the factory directs the older numbers to them. Subwoofers, the bass tube, pop-up speakers, outdoor 6.5 inch speakers, speaker covers and the dipole antenna round out the books.

Identification starts with photos: the head unit or module, the harness connector, a speaker face and your serial number. Where an original component is no longer made, we’ll tell you straight and point to what replaces it. Two things from the owner’s manual worth knowing: the stereo, speakers, Bluetooth and subwoofer are excluded from the spa’s warranty coverage, and the audio controls are not to be operated from inside the spa. Marine-rated components are the right call even when a car speaker physically fits.

Match the generation: Aquatic AV media center and harness (2010–2014 books), Bluetooth receiver or BBA module with amplifier and power supply (2015–2021), or the touchscreen Bluetooth kit on Swift Water Trainer spas (2018–2020). Then match the speaker size and connector — 3 inch cabinet speakers changed to TE-style connectors in 2020. Photograph the module, harness plug and a speaker and we’ll match it.

The original graphite Island AQ 3 inch speaker (33-0242-16, 2010–2019 books) is out of stock at the factory, which directs it to 33-0234-16, the 2020–2021 version. The Artesian grill 3 inch speaker 33-0098-16 is likewise directed to 33-0236-16 with the TE connection. If your harness has the older plug, the matching TE harness (33-0233-16) is listed here as well.

The Bluetooth audio module Artesian fitted from the 2015 books: the BBA Bluetooth Audio unit (2015–2017) and the BBA 2 (33-0199-08, 2018–2021). It pairs with your phone and drives the amplifier and speakers; the Infinity BT receiver assembly is the alternative receiver in the same years. Photograph the module label to tell them apart.

If the module shows no power or never appears on your phone, start at the stereo power supply (the 240 V supply or the SPS100 in the 2021 book) and its connection. If it pairs but there’s no sound, the amplifier or harness is next. If it pairs and plays but cuts out, the receiver itself is the usual failure. Tell us which of the three you’re seeing.

No — the 2021 owner’s manual excludes the stereo and stereo components, including speakers, Bluetooth and subwoofer, from the spa warranty. That’s why we list the individual modules, amplifiers, harnesses and speakers here instead of only complete systems.
