Artesian Elite Jet Pumps

Match your Artesian Elite jet pump by the label on the pump itself — amperage, voltage, speeds, frequency and frame — not by the spa model; Artesian Elite runs up to six or seven pumps, so two spas with the same name can carry different ones.

Artesian Elite Jet Pumps — Match by the Pump Label

Jet pumps are matched by specification, and every spec you need is printed on your existing pump’s label: amperage and voltage first, then one- or two-speed, 60 Hz or 50 Hz, intake and discharge size, and frame. Horsepower ratings on a label are marketing numbers and are the last thing we compare. Artesian Elite configurations run five to seven jet zones on six or seven pumps depending on model and year, and the same factory 3 HP pump appears in the parts books from 2003 through 2021 — which is why a Platinum Elite, Platinum or Gold owner often finds the pump they need here.

Pump or something else? A pump that hums but moves no water after a refill is usually air-locked, not dead: loosen the pump union a half turn until water weeps out, retighten, and prime again. The control also refuses to run a pump unprimed beyond its 4–5 minute priming window, and it will not fire the heater until water is moving. A pump that trips the breaker, smells hot or screams from the bearing is the one to replace. And since each jet pump should not be cycled on and off more than once a minute, a short-cycling pump is a panel or board question first.

While you’re in there: pump unions, split nuts, gaskets and cords are listed here too — a new pump on cracked unions leaks the day you fill it. Plumbing fittings live in Misc Parts.

Artesian Elite Jet Pumps FAQs

Match the label on your existing pump — amperage, voltage, speeds, 60 or 50 Hz, intake/discharge size and frame — then confirm against your pump count. A photo of the label and the pump in place through the form below settles it in minutes; the model name alone does not, because pump count and placement vary by year and configuration.

Often, yes. The factory’s 3 HP 60 Hz jet pump is listed in every Platinum Elite and Artesian Elite parts book from 2007 through 2021 (and in the Gold and Platinum books before that), so a pump-label match usually crosses generations. The 50 Hz export version is a different pump and is currently out of stock at the factory.

Probably air-locked. Turn the power off, loosen the pump’s union a half turn until water flows out, retighten, and restart priming mode. Do not let a pump run dry more than two minutes or beyond the priming window — that is how a good pump becomes a bad one and how the heater ends up overheating.

A replacement pump does not automatically include the AMP-plug cord, unions or motor mounts. Reuse yours if they are sound; if the union nuts are cracked, the gaskets are flattened or the cord plug is corroded, order them with the pump so the job is done once.

✅ Not Sure Which Jet Pump Fits? Verify Before Ordering

Artesian Elite part compatibility varies by model year, serial number, pump count, voltage and part revision.

To help us identify the correct replacement, please send clear photos of:

  • The label on your existing pump
  • The pump in place, showing the unions and cord
  • Your spa serial number sticker

EZ Hot Tub Parts can confirm fitment before you order and help you avoid costly returns.
