Compatibility

  • Fits: Tropic Seas Spas whose spa pack label reads in.ye, in.yt or in.xe — the in.ye-equipped build (supplied to Hawaii 2021 and newer; identify by the pack label, not the year)
  • Tropic Seas with a BP or MBP pack (MBP501 / MBP501UX, the mainland standard) use the Tropic Seas WiFi Control Kit – CMS instead
  • 2013–2015 Tropic Seas (MVS504SZ pack): no WiFi option without a retrofit — see our WiFi retrofit help

The module plugs into the accessory port on your spa pack; the home transmitter sits near your router. No wiring through the cabinet.

Fitment check: match your spa pack label — in.ye, in.yt or in.xe on the label means this kit fits. BP, MBP, VS or MVS labels are the earlier system and use a different kit. Model year alone does not settle it.

Tropic Seas Spas whose spa pack label reads in.ye, in.yt or in.xe — the in.ye-equipped build, which Tropic Seas supplied mainly to Hawaii from 2021. Mainland Tropic Seas run BP/MBP packs and use the CMS kit; 2013–2015 MVS504SZ spas have no WiFi option without a retrofit. The pack label is definitive.

Home WiFi, a power outlet near your router for the small transmitter, and the free iOS or Android app. Setup takes a few minutes; the app walks you through pairing.

Yes — once paired, the app works from anywhere with an internet connection: pre-heat before you get home, check the water temperature from vacation, or adjust filtration cycles from the office.
