Tropic Seas Circuit Boards
Shop Tropic Seas Spas Circuit Boards and Spa Packs
Tropic Seas Spas are built by Artesian Spas and use Balboa-based control systems, so your replacement board or spa pack is identified by the board number on your existing part and your spa’s model year — not just the spa model name. Board generations changed between the 2013–2015, 2017-and-newer, and 2018-and-newer eras, so two spas of the same model can take different boards.
This category includes both bare circuit boards and complete spa packs. If your enclosure and heater tube are still in good condition, a board-only replacement is usually the more cost-effective repair; if the heater tube or enclosure has failed, a complete pack is the cleaner fix.
If you own a Tahiti, Waikiki, Oahu, Maui, Fiji, Kona, Rio, Kawai, Hawaii, Lanai, Makai, Tonga, Hana, or Tropic Pool — you’re in the right place.

✅ Not Sure It Fits? Verify Before Ordering
Tropic Seas board compatibility can vary by spa model, model year, serial number, control system, and board revision.
To help us identify the correct replacement part, please send clear photos of:
- Your board label, part number, or chip number
- Your spa serial number sticker
- Your equipment bay or control box
EZ Hot Tub Parts can help confirm fitment before you order and help reduce costly returns.
How to Identify Your Tropic Seas Circuit Board
Before ordering, try to locate:
- The board number printed on the board or control box label (Balboa-format numbers such as 33-xxxx-08 or BP501/MBP501 platform markings)
- Your spa’s model year — board generations changed around 2013–2015 and again in 2017–2018
- Your spa serial number, which helps confirm the production era
- Your topside control model — boards and topsides must be compatible
Because Tropic Seas Spas are built by Artesian and run Balboa systems, some boards are shared with other Artesian-built lines. When in doubt, match by board number rather than spa model name alone.
Board vs. Complete Spa Pack
This category includes both bare boards and complete spa packs. Replace just the board when the enclosure, terminals, and heater tube are still in good condition. Choose a complete pack when the heater tube is leaking or failed, the enclosure is damaged, or multiple components have gone bad at once.
Common Signs of a Failing Circuit Board
- No power or a completely dead spa
- No heat despite pumps running
- FLO, HL, or sensor-related error codes
- Pumps not turning on or relays stuck on/off
- Random shutdowns or resets
- Topside communication failures
