Sundance Spas ClearRay 240V Complete UV Sanitizer Assembly
Restore the ClearRay water-treatment system in a compatible Sundance hot tub with this
genuine OEM third-generation ClearRay UV generator. The complete assembly

What the ClearRay System Does
ClearRay exposes circulating spa water to ultraviolet light inside an enclosed treatment
chamber. The UV system provides supplemental water treatment but does not leave a
sanitizer residual in the spa water.
ClearRay does not eliminate the need for chlorine or bromine, routine water testing,
water balancing, filtration, oxidation, filter cleaning, or scheduled draining and
refilling. Continue following the water-care instructions applicable to your Sundance spa.
Complete Assembly or Replacement Bulb?
Choose this complete ClearRay assembly when the housing, ballast, wiring, connector, or
complete UV generator requires replacement. If the ClearRay system is operating properly
and the annual lamp reminder has appeared, you will normally need only the
Sundance ClearRay replacement UV bulb.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. This is a genuine OEM third-generation ClearRay UV generator used in compatible
Sundance and Jacuzzi spa systems.
It is a 240V assembly that may also be cataloged as 230V class. Confirm the spa’s voltage
configuration and AMP-style electrical connector before ordering.
Compare the Sundance model, manufacturing date, voltage configuration, and existing
electrical connector with the fitment information on this page. Do not select the
assembly by spa series alone.
Yes. The complete core assembly includes the ClearRay UV chamber, bulb, ballast or power
supply, wiring, and AMP-style connector. Tubing, clamps, fittings, bonding wire, and other
installation components are included only when specifically shown or stated in the
product listing.
No. ClearRay is supplemental UV water treatment and does not maintain a sanitizer
residual. The water must still be sanitized, tested, balanced, filtered, oxidized, and
changed at the appropriate intervals.
The ClearRay UV bulb is generally replaced annually. A bulb may continue producing
visible light after its effective germicidal UV output has declined.
Usually not. If the housing, ballast, wiring, and connector are operating properly,
routine annual maintenance normally requires only the
Sundance ClearRay replacement UV bulb.
Choose the complete assembly when the complete generator or one of its permanent
components requires replacement.
Need Help Confirming Sundance ClearRay Fitment?
ClearRay fitment depends on the exact model, manufacturing date, voltage configuration,
and electrical connector. Submit the information from the spa identification label and
clear photographs of the existing assembly before ordering if you are uncertain.
