Replacing your CLEARRAY® XL UV bulb is a routine maintenance task that typically takes less than 10 minutes. Jacuzzi® has produced an excellent installation video that also applies to compatible Sundance® Spas using the same CLEARRAY® XL system.

Before replacing the bulb:

  • Disconnect power to the spa at the breaker.
  • Allow the existing bulb to cool before handling.
  • Avoid touching the glass of the new bulb with bare hands.
  • Handle the bulb by the ceramic ends or wear clean gloves.
  • The spa generally does not need to be drained when replacing only the UV bulb.
  • Inspect the quartz tube and seals while servicing the system.
  • Reset the CLEARRAY® reminder after installation if your spa displays one.
