QCA Spas Filters

QCA Spas use one drop-in cartridge in two lengths: the large 17-3/4″ EZ06 (100 sq ft) on Moonstone, Gemstone Deluxe, Paradise Supreme, Paradise Island, Capricorn and Aquarius, or the small 10-1/8″ EZ08 (50 sq ft). Both are 5-5/16″ across and open at both ends — measure the length and you are done.

QCA Spas filter buying guide

Large drop-in, EZ06. 5-5/16″ across, 17-3/4″ long, 2-1/8″ open holes both ends (Pleatco PLBS100, Unicel C-5397, Filbur FC-2972, Waterway 817-0016). Stocked here in Hurricane and genuine Pleatco; ProAqua and Darlly drop-ship (labelled 80 sq ft — same cartridge).

Small drop-in, EZ08. Same body, 10-1/8″ long (Pleatco PLBS50, Unicel C-5345, Filbur FC-2970, Waterway 817-0014). Stocked in Hurricane; ProAqua and Darlly too.

Reusable option. Both wells accept the Ego3 top-load cartridge #5 — buy the canister once and refill the media. See the Ego3 link above.

Which QCA Spas models use the large EZ06 filter?

Moonstone, Gemstone Deluxe, Paradise Supreme, Paradise Island, Capricorn and Aquarius take the 17-3/4″ 100 sq ft cartridge. If your old filter measures 10-1/8″ instead, order the small EZ08. Send a photo through the form above if unsure.

Why do some listings say 80 sq ft and others 100 for the same QCA filter?

Different manufacturers rate the same cartridge differently (ProAqua and Darlly say 80, Pleatco and Hurricane say 100). It is one physical size — 5-5/16″ by 17-3/4″ — and any of them fits.
