Leisure Bay Spas Filters

Leisure Bay spas (including the S2 and G2 lines) use the same 5-5/16″ drop-in cartridge as Rainbow in-line filters, in two lengths: 17-3/4″ (100 sq ft) or 10-1/8″ (50 sq ft). A few models take the wide 8-1/2″ slotted cartridge instead. Measure the length and the card picks itself.

Leisure Bay Spas filter buying guide

Drop-in 100 sq ft (EZ06). 5-5/16″ across, 17-3/4″ long, 2-1/8″ open holes both ends (Pleatco PLBS100, Unicel C-5397, Filbur FC-2972, Rainbow / Leisure Bay 100). Stocked here in Hurricane and genuine Pleatco; ProAqua and Darlly drop-ship (their labels say 80 sq ft — same cartridge).

Drop-in 50 sq ft (EZ08). Same 5-5/16″ body, 10-1/8″ long (Pleatco PLBS50, Unicel C-5345, Filbur FC-2970). Stocked in Hurricane; ProAqua and Darlly too.

Slotted open-top 50 sq ft, 8-1/2″. 8-1/2″ across, 7-1/4″ tall, open top with slots, no handle (Pleatco PVT50W, Unicel C-8350, Filbur FC-3053). ProAqua / Darlly. If yours has a molded handle on top it is the 2005-and-newer threaded version — send a photo.

Which filter does my Leisure Bay spa take?

Measure the old cartridge. 5-5/16″ across and 17-3/4″ long = the 100 sq ft EZ06; 5-5/16″ across and 10-1/8″ long = the 50 sq ft EZ08. A wide 8-1/2″ cartridge only 7-1/4″ tall with a slotted top is the PVT50W. Send a photo through the form above if unsure.

Is the Leisure Bay filter the same as a Rainbow filter?

Yes — the 5-5/16″ drop-in cartridges are the Rainbow in-line filter sizes (Rainbow / Leisure Bay 100 and 50). QCA and Rippling Water spas use the same two cartridges, which is why those pages are linked above.

What are the Leisure Bay filter part numbers?

Do Leisure Bay S2 and G2 spas use the same filter?

They use the 100 sq ft drop-in on this page; confirm by length (17-3/4″) because some smaller tubs of the same era took the 10-1/8″ cartridge.
