Coleman Spas are built by Maax Spas, so they use the Maax filter family: a slip-fit cartridge that pushes onto a fitting (8″ across), a screw-in cartridge with a 2″ thread (6″ or 7″ across) or the 5″ drop-in. Look at the bottom of your old filter and match the diameter.

Coleman Spas filter buying guide

Slip-fit, 8″ across. The bottom has a smooth male fitting that pushes into the well. Two lengths: the 13″ 75 sq ft EZ18 (Pleatco PCS75N, Unicel C-8475, Coleman 100594) in ProAqua or Darlly, and the 9″ 50 sq ft (Pleatco PCS50N, Unicel C-8450, Coleman 100593) in ProAqua or Darlly. Measure the length; the diameter is the same.

Screw-in, 2″ thread. Three cartridges share the thread: 7″ × 14-3/4″ 50 sq ft (Unicel 7CH-50, Pleatco PVT50P, Coleman 100434) — ProAqua / Darlly; 7″ × 8″ 32–35 sq ft (Unicel 7CH-322, Pleatco PAS35-2 / PAS35-F2M, Coleman 100520) — ProAqua, ProAqua 35 or Darlly; and the 6″ × 7-1/8″ 25 sq ft (Unicel 6CH-26, Pleatco PTL25W-SV) — ProAqua. Diameter first, then length.

Drop-in, 4-15/16″ across. Open at both ends, 13-5/16″ long, 25 sq ft (Unicel C-4326, Pleatco PRB25-IN) — our EZ24 in ProAqua or Darlly. Usually installed in pairs.

Which filter does my Coleman spa use?

Look at the bottom of the old cartridge. A smooth push-on fitting on an 8″ body is the slip-fit (13″ = 75 sq ft EZ18, 9″ = 50 sq ft). A 2″ threaded nipple is the screw-in family (7″ or 6″ across). Open at both ends on a 5″ body is the drop-in EZ24. Send a photo through the form above if you are not sure.

How often should Coleman spa filters be changed?

Every 12 months with a rinse every 2–4 weeks and a monthly soak in filter cleaner; sooner if the pleats stay grey or an end cap cracks. On two-filter Coleman models replace both at once so they load evenly.
