Horsepower and BHP figures printed on competing listings are marketing numbers with no consistent convention — do not match on them.
No. This pump uses 2-1/2 inch intake and discharge unions. A 2-inch pump with otherwise identical electrical specs is a different application and will not plumb up without changing fittings. Connection size is a matching requirement, not a detail.
Island Spas changed shells, filters and electronics for the 2025 model update, and prior-generation spas continued to sell alongside them as “Classic” models. There was no January 1 cutoff, so the model year on its own does not identify the generation — read the label on your spa pack, or send us a photo of it and we will identify it for you.
