Around 3–4 weeks depending on gallons and swimmer load — watch your @ease test strips and the floater position, same as the hot tub system.
No — the swim spa cartridges are sized and rated for up to 3,000 gallons. Hot tub cartridges cannot hold a swim spa’s volume at the right level.
SmartChlor holds a deliberately low free-chlorine level and the minerals do the rest, so ordinary strips misread it. Use FROG @ease Test Strips — the single color tells you the cartridge is fine or empty.
