Island Spas Jets — Match by Face Size, Style & Trim Color

Jet replacement starts with three things: the face diameter (measure across the visible face with a tape), the style (directional, rotational, or specialty), and your trim color era. Island Spas used Light Gray jets and trim through 2012 and Graphite Gray from 2013 on — same sizes, different look, so the era matters even when the measurement matches. Most “broken jet” symptoms — a jet that spins loosely, stopped rotating, or popped out of the wall — are fixed by replacing the jet insert alone; the body in the shell stays put.

Measure the face diameter across the front of the jet, note whether it’s directional (fixed nozzle) or rotational (spinning), and check your trim color: Light Gray = pre-2013, Graphite Gray = 2013+. A photo of the jet face next to a tape measure through the form below removes all doubt.

Usually just the insert. Jets twist-lock into a body that’s plumbed into the shell; when one spins freely or pops out, the insert’s lock tabs have worn. Replace the insert — the body stays in the wall.
