Marquis Spa Filters

Marquis filters come in two styles: a screw-in cartridge with a 2″ pipe thread (50 or 35 sq ft, same body) and a closed-top drop-in that lifts out. Threaded bottom means EZ09; a solid closed top with an open bottom means the PPM50TC.

Marquis Spas filter buying guide

Screw-in 50 sq ft (EZ09). 5-3/16″ × 12-1/2″, handle top, 2″ MPT thread (Pleatco PPM50SC-F2M, Unicel 5CH-502, Filbur FC-0195) — Pleatco lists it for Pacific Marquis and Cal Spas low-flow circulation. Stocked in ProAqua; also Darlly.

Screw-in 35 sq ft. The same body and thread with fewer pleats (Pleatco PPM35SC-F2M, Unicel 5CH-352) for low-flow recirculation models. Shop it here.

Which Marquis spa filter replacement do I need?

A cartridge with a 2″ thread on the bottom is the screw-in EZ09 (50 sq ft) or its 35 sq ft twin — count the pleats or check the label. A cartridge with a solid closed top and an open bottom is the PPM50TC drop-in.

How often should Marquis hot tub filters be replaced?

About once a year with monthly cleaning; Marquis circulation models run the filter continuously, so rinse every 2 weeks.

Is the Marquis EZ09 the same as the Cal Spas EZ09?

Yes — the 5CH-502 / PPM50SC-F2M cartridge is used by both. Any EZ09 listing fits.
