Check how your current filter is held in place. If it threads into the well, you have a screw-in EZ02 (Wisteria, Plume, Forsythia). If it lifts straight out of a compartment, you have a drop-in EZ03 (Viola, Hydrangea, Hibiscus, Camellia, Iris, Azalea).

The screw-in EZ02 cross-references to Pleatco PAS40-F2M, Hurricane HF6H352-01, and ProAqua SPP-PA-6502, plus the genuine Artesian OEM version — it’s the same 6″ x 8″, 35 sq ft, 2″ MPT filter platform used across several Artesian spa lines.

The screw-in EZ02 threads into the filter well with a 2″ MPT fitting and filters under suction. The drop-in EZ03 has no threads — it sits inside the filter compartment under a cover and lifts straight out for cleaning. They are not interchangeable.

Rinse between the pleats with a high-pressure filter nozzle, and soak in a filter cleaner solution monthly. Keep a second filter to install while the cleaned one dries fully — a dirty filter is the number one cause of freeze damage and premature pump failure.
