Emerald Spas filter buying guide

Standard drop-in 75 sq ft (EZ28). 4-15/16″ across, 20-1/8″ long, open both ends (Pleatco PRB75, Unicel C-4975, Filbur FC-2395) — ProAqua / Darlly. Shared with Maax and many in-line filter wells.

Slim drop-ins, 2-7/8″ across, 17-1/16″ long. Two square footages in one size: 14 sq ft (Pleatco PRB14) — ProAqua / Darlly; and 9 sq ft (Pleatco PRB8) — ProAqua / Darlly. Count the pleats on your old one: the 14 is noticeably denser. Spas with the slim well normally run more than one cartridge, so replace the set.

Which Emerald spa filter do I need?

Measure across the end cap. About 5″ and 20″ long = the 75 sq ft EZ28. About 2-7/8″ and 17″ long = the slim cartridge; pick 14 or 9 sq ft by pleat count (or send a photo through the form above and we will match it).

What are the Emerald Spas filter part numbers?

75 sq ft: Pleatco PRB75, Unicel C-4975, Filbur FC-2395. Slim 14: Pleatco PRB14 (Darlly 20151). Slim 9: Pleatco PRB8 (Darlly 20191).

Why does my Emerald spa have several small filters?

The slim 2-7/8″ cartridges are used in multiples in a manifold-style well; replace them as a set so the flow splits evenly. The 2 packs and 4 packs are priced for that.

How often should Emerald spa filters be changed?

Every 12 months with a rinse every 2–4 weeks and a monthly soak in filter cleaner; sooner for the slim cartridges if the pleats stay grey after soaking.
