Coast Spas use open-ended drop-in cartridges that lift straight out — three lengths: 13-5/16″ (50 sq ft, our EZ04), 21-5/16″ (100 sq ft) or the 30-1/8″ swim-spa size (135 sq ft). No threads to match; measure the length.

To confirm the correct replacement, send clear photos of:

  • The label or end cap of your current filter

Coast Spas filter buying guide

50 sq ft, 13-5/16″ (EZ04). 4-15/16″ across, open 2-1/8″ holes both ends (Pleatco PRB50-IN, Unicel C-4950, Filbur FC-2390, Waterway 817-5000) — ProAqua / Darlly. The same cartridge as the Jacuzzi J-200 series.

100 sq ft, 21-5/16″. 5-5/16″ across, open both ends (ProAqua PA-1596, Darlly 51002) — ProAqua / Darlly.

135 sq ft, 30-1/8″. 5-5/16″ across, open both ends (Unicel C-5351, ProAqua PA-5351) — ProAqua. Coast swim spas and the largest tubs.

Reusable option. The 50 sq ft EZ04 well accepts the Ego3 top-load cartridge #5 (5.9″ opening); see the Ego3 link above.

Which Coast Spas filter do I need?

Measure the old cartridge end to end: 13-5/16″ = 50 sq ft EZ04, 21-5/16″ = 100 sq ft, 30-1/8″ = 135 sq ft. All are open at both ends, so length is the only check. Send a photo through the form above if unsure.

Is Coast Spas the same as Gulf Coast Spas?

No. Coast Spas is the Canadian manufacturer (British Columbia); Gulf Coast Spas is a separate US brand with different filters. This page is for Coast Spas. If your cabinet says Gulf Coast, send a photo of the filter and we will match it.

What are the Coast Spas filter part numbers?

How often should a Coast spa filter be changed?

Every 12 months with a rinse every 2–4 weeks and a monthly soak in filter cleaner; swim-spa cartridges work harder, so check them monthly.
