Genuine Balboa 4.0kW Heater for Viking Spas

This is the genuine Balboa replacement heater for Viking Spas: a 4.0kW flow-thru heater assembly with a standard incoloy element and Balboa’s Plug’N’Click male connector — a drop-in replacement for Balboa BP, VS, GL, and EL systems.

What’s in the box

The heater assembly DOES include M7 sensors and split nuts, but DOES NOT include tailpieces or gaskets.

ProTip: always replace both heater gaskets when replacing the heater — old, compressed gaskets are the most common cause of drips after a heater swap. On a salt system, or if you’ve burned out an element before, consider the titanium version of this heater instead.

Before you order: match your spa’s heater wattage — Viking Spas shipped with both 4.0kW and 5.5kW heaters depending on the pack. Send us a photo of your spa pack label and we’ll confirm the correct heater before it ships.
