Dirty Filters Cause circulation pumps to work harder and causes premature failure.

**When replacing the Old Discontinued Balboa Circulation Pump (3 mounting bolts) we recommend using this WE14 Circ Pump, as it is more comparable in size and makes for an easier install. The “Artesian recommended” circ pump is too long and is a very tight squeeze and usually ends up touching a jet pump when forcefully installed.

Island Spas parts vary by model, model year, trim and generation. Spas built during the 2025/2026 changeover may be current-generation or “Classic” carryover, so the model year alone does not settle it — match your spa pack label.

To help us identify the correct replacement, please send clear photos of:

  • Your spa serial number sticker

Match the amperage and voltage on your existing motor label first — those are what keep the pump inside your spa pack’s breaker and relay rating. Then confirm speeds, frame size and intake/discharge plumbing size. Horsepower and BHP figures are marketing numbers with no consistent convention and should not be used to match a pump.

Island Spas changed shells, filters and electronics for the 2025 model update, and prior-generation spas continued to sell alongside them as “Classic” models. There was no January 1 cutoff, so the model year on its own does not identify the generation — read the label on your spa pack, or send us a photo of it and we will identify it for you.
