Gecko Jet Pumps Frequently Asked Questions

Read the pump label: horsepower, voltage, 1- or 2-speed, motor frame (48 or 56), and suction/discharge size. Measure the pump body if the label is gone.

The frame is the motor mounting size; 56 frame motors are larger. Replace with the same frame so the pump fits the spa base and plumbing.

If the motor runs but the pump leaks or is cracked, a wet end may be enough. If the motor hums, trips or is seized, replace the pump.
