How do I install this valve? Part number OP03-0148-48A or 03-0148-48A

In order to install this valve you will need to open the cabinet, dig through the insualation until you can see the pvc plumbing connection. You will need PVC Glue and PVC Primer to be able to glue the new valve in place.

If the lower part is already glued in and not leaking, can I just replace the inner parts of the valve?

Yes, if the lower part of the valve that is glued to the hose is still in tact and not leaking from the glue joint to can just replace the valve parts. They will screw right in. See the picture showing the parts break down and order of assembly.

Is there another type of valve available for this water water fall?

No, this is the only valve that will work for this type of water fall.

Installation Note:
This spillway valve must be installed using PVC primer and PVC cement when replacing the full valve body. If only the internal components are being replaced, glue may not be required.
