Island Spas Filters — Fitment & Replacement Guide

Island Spas built by Artesian use a two-filter system on every model from 2002 through 2024 (and on 2-filter 2025 builds): one large filter (EZ01) and one small circulation filter (EZ02), replaced together as a matched set. This covers the Bimini, Isla Margarita, Grand Cayman, Grand Bahama, Antigua, Captiva, Nevis, Santa Cruz, and St. Kitts — as well as Resort Spas. The 2025 redesigned models moved to a single tall filter (the EZ30).

We stock Island Spas filters in every tier: USA-made Hurricane, genuine OEM factory-direct from Artesian, Pleatco, budget-friendly ProAqua (formerly sold as Proline), and the refillable EGO3 system. Every product page includes a brand selector so you can compare options for your exact setup, or start with our side-by-side guide: Compare Hot Tub Filter Brands.

Island Spas Filters FAQs

All Island Spas from 2002–2024 (and 2-filter 2025 builds) use one large EZ01 filter and one small EZ02 circulation filter, replaced as a pair. The 2025+ redesigned models use a single tall EZ30 filter instead.

The large filter cross-references to Artesian OEM 06-0005-12, Pleatco PAS50-F2M, Hurricane HF6H502-01, and ProAqua SPP-PA-402. The small circulation filter cross-references to Artesian OEM 06-0014-12, Pleatco PAS40-F2M, Hurricane HF6H352-01, and ProAqua SPP-PA-6502.

The large filter measures 6.75″ in diameter by 8″ tall with 50 sq ft of media; the circulation filter measures 6″ in diameter by 8″ tall with 35 sq ft. Both use a closed top with handle and a 2″ MPT bottom thread.

With monthly rinsing and a filter cleaner soak, a set lasts about 6 months. We recommend keeping two sets in rotation: install the clean set, rinse and dry the dirty set, and swap at each water change. A 4 pack is a full 12-month supply.

Genuine OEM filters ship factory-direct from Artesian and are the right choice if you want exactly what came with your spa. USA-made Hurricane filters use a high-flow core rather than a drilled PVC core and ship same or next business day from our warehouse. Pleatco, ProAqua, and the refillable EGO3 system round out the lineup.

Yes — we sell singles of both the large EZ01 and circulation EZ02 in every brand for when one filter is damaged or lost, though replacing the pair together as a 2 pack costs less per filter.

EGO3 is a refillable cartridge system: two pre-filled canisters replace your EZ01 and EZ02, and when the media is spent you drop in low-cost refills instead of buying new filters. The 4 pack kit includes both cartridges plus your first two refills.

That’s the EZ30 (Artesian 06-2025-02), the single tall filter used in 2025+ redesigned models like the Grand Bahama, Grand Cayman, Captiva, and Antigua. You’ll find it on our Island Spas Tall EZ30 Filter product page.
