Garden Spas Filters — Fitment & Replacement Guide

Garden Spas by Artesian split into two filter families. The Wisteria, Plume, and Forsythia use a single screw-in filter (EZ02 — 6″ diameter, 2″ MPT thread), available in USA-made Hurricane, genuine OEM factory-direct, Pleatco, and ProAqua (formerly Proline), plus the refillable EGO3 cartridge. The Viola, Hydrangea, Hibiscus, Camellia, Iris, and Azalea use a drop-in style filter (EZ03) with its own OEM, Pleatco, and ProAqua options and a top-load EGO3 Cartridge #5.

Garden Spas Filters FAQs

Wisteria, Plume, and Forsythia use a single screw-in EZ02 filter (6″ diameter, 2″ MPT thread). Viola, Hydrangea, Hibiscus, Camellia, Iris, and Azalea use a drop-in style EZ03 filter that lifts straight out of the compartment. If your filter threads in, it’s the EZ02; if it lifts out, it’s the EZ03.

The screw-in EZ02 for Wisteria, Plume, and Forsythia cross-references to Pleatco PAS40-F2M, Hurricane HF6H352-01, ProAqua SPP-PA-6502, and the genuine Artesian OEM equivalent, which ships factory-direct.

The screw-in EZ02 measures 6″ in diameter by 8″ tall with 35 sq ft of media, a closed top with handle, and a 2″ MPT bottom thread.

With monthly rinsing and a filter cleaner soak, a filter lasts about 6 months. Since these are single-filter spas, our 2 packs give you a rotating pair: install the clean one, rinse and dry the other, and swap at each water change — a full 12 months of filtration.

The 2 pack costs less per filter and gives you the rotation set most owners want. Singles are available in every brand for when you just need to replace one damaged filter.

EGO3 is a refillable cartridge system — convert once and you never buy filters again, just low-cost media refills. Wisteria, Plume, and Forsythia use the 2″ fine thread Ego3 Cartridge #3; the drop-in models (Viola, Hydrangea, Hibiscus, Camellia, Iris, Azalea) use the top-load Ego3 Cartridge #5.

Genuine OEM filters ship factory-direct from Artesian and are the right choice if you want exactly what came with your spa. USA-made Hurricane filters use a high-flow core and ship same or next business day from our warehouse. Pleatco and ProAqua round out the lineup.

The Wisteria (all years) uses the screw-in EZ02 filter — available as a single or 2 pack in Hurricane, OEM, Pleatco, and ProAqua, or as the refillable Ego3 Cartridge #3. The same filter fits the Plume and Forsythia.
