Yes. Aquatic Spas are designed in Minnesota with cold-weather performance in mind. Instead of using full-foam insulation, Aquatic Spas uses a sealed, insulated cabinet approach that helps retain heat efficiently while also making service and leak repairs more practical over the life of the spa. Aquatic Spas uses a thin layer of high-density spray foam on the back of the shell to help keep heat in the water, then adds cabinet insulation with a reflective (mylar-style) thermal barrier that reflects heat back toward the plumbing and equipment. This creates a warm air cavity that helps maintain temperature, captures waste heat from the motors while running, and keeps heat circulating inside the cabinet—ideal for Minnesota winters. Why not full foam? Full-foam designs can be more difficult and labor-intensive to repair if a leak ever develops because foam often must be removed to access plumbing.
