Easy to install. With the power to the tub off, just pry off the old one, clean the surface. Open the cabinet, unplug the old one from the circuit board. Plug in the new one and use the 3M double sided adhesive to stick the new one in place. Then power on the hot tub.

Yes. The factory has retired the SpaTouch 1 touchscreen (OP33-1909-08, used on Island Spas and TidalFit, and on the Tropic Seas Tropic Pool). This SpaTouch 2 is the shipping replacement on the same MBP501UX / MBP20 control systems — if your panel says SpaTouch 1, this is the one to order.
No — the SpaTouch 2 does not use an overlay. The printed overlays from the SpaTouch 1 era — OP11-1902-08 (Island Spas), OP11-1901-08 (Island Elite), OP11-1904-08 (Tropic Seas) and OP11-1900-08 (TidalFit) — fit the SpaTouch 1 only and do not carry over. On the SpaTouch 2 the touchscreen display itself replaces the printed overlay, so the panel arrives complete.
